Rune Dragon Guides and Videos (rudn)

Rune Dragon Nest just came out in in SEA and after many runs where people do not know what to do I want to share a quick "must-know" guide and some videos. I'll post links to other full guides later.



First here are a couple of nice videos from hc clears in other servers. Note that some mechs in there are hardcore only also hardcore has heaps more HP so running normal mode will be much easier.

Must-know info:

First Stage:

• When someone gets the black mark the boss chases them breathing fire. They should run in a single direction so that others can stay behind the boss.
• In the part where two people have fire marks it is important for them to stand still so others can move away.

Second Stage:

• If you get ad-ad then after you must run around and free other party members who are stuck
• When the shield comes up each person must get the buf from behind the sheild then get hit one time by the boss attack - similar to rdn dk bar mech. This mech happens in two parts if someone does not get hit huge damage will be delt to the party.

Third Stage:

• After you get sucked into the middle and fall over it will be the memory game. The ground will flash four times and you must remember at least three safe spots. After this there will be four attacks in those areas that were lit up. Some classes such as priest can use iframe to avoid the entire attack.
• When it says dark attack (I will check exact wording later) there is a strip of safe area in the middle. Ideally group up on one side and wait for circles on the ground to turn red before moving out of them.

Dragon Phase #1:

• Do not start to attack dragon until it says that you can. When you do be at the side indicated.
• If you have mark then run behind the dragon.
• Do not kill the big mobs - someone take aggro and lure them away.
• Move to the side walls at the end of phase one.

Dragon Phase #2:

• When the sign appears move to it then go slowly clockwise as red lines indicate attacks. After this wait until mark appears before continuing 
• When the two lizard statues appear keep them at low hp but do not destroy them.
